Gender Screening
We understand that some families may have personal or medical reasons for wanting to know the gender of their child. With the help of advanced reproductive technologies like IVF and PGT-A Testing (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidies), sex screening is now a safe and effective option.
Understanding Gender Selection
(Sex Selection)
Gender selection or sex selection helps couples know the gender of their embryo before pregnancy occurs using preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies (PGT-A). This is an additional technique to our In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) to determine the sex of each formed embryo. As the final step to the IVF procedure, the embryos of the chosen sex are implanted into the mother’s uterine cavity.
Family Balancing
Some families may desire a specific sex to achieve a balanced family dynamic.
Personal Preference
Whether cultural or personal, many families have their own reasons for knowing the gender of their child.
Medical Reason
In cases where there is a family history of gender-linked genetic disorders, sex screening can help ensure the health of the child.
